RACE NEWS & NOTES
Snowbird
Battery Rules:
4300 mah and under sub-c's
allowed.
Snowbird Motor Rules
Handouts for stock / 19 turn
classes
- motors are part of your entry fee
- racers limited on amount of extra motors
- we may allow you to buy extras online
Handout motors
will be strictly teched. TQ cars for each class are torn down each
round, and random cars are too. We are allowing all types of brushless
in on-road mod. Oval is brushed mod motors only.
*Stock motors and Komodo 19s will be checked for 24 degrees timing.
Must be handed out components. Arms will be checked if they are twisted. We have a gauge. End
bells can not be altered to increase timing. No
re-drilling of arms.
*Ultrabirds will not have a timing rule. Must be handed out
components. Stand-up brushes only this year (no P-94s cut down).
No creating 'L' style brushes or filing brush to get more 'wrap'.
Basically run brushes the motor was designed for. Magnets can
not be changed, this also will be checked.
On-Road Touring Rubber Spec Tires:
- you have to purchase from us for race
- they are going to be CS27s
- there will be a max number allowed
- we may allow you to buy tires online
(we ran touring rubber in '01 and '02
