Basic Motor Rules:
This will be possibly be updated with more detailed information as the race nears.  Motors in the controlled and motor specific classes (10.5, 13.5, etc) can not be 'modified' externally or internally from factory.  Bearing changes, rotor replacement, etc is legal.  Timing adjustments are legal (as limited by manufacture design).  By no modification, we mean physical and deliberate changes to the motor from what it was designed for (no timing modifications, can modifications, wire altercations, solder tampering, etc.).  The spirit of the class is to be 'spec' out of the box.  Motors must be available for sale to the public before the race.  We will have inductance minimums (and set ranges) for motors and are also looking at checking motors resistance for legality.  At this time we are not sure about a mandatory pre-tech, but will offer racers the option to tech their motors to see if they are legal with our tech equipment before the event begins.
Spec brushless motor classes will not be allowed to run large rotors.  12.5mm is the maximum size allowed for these classes.
We do not have a rule about motor temperature before your race.
To see a list of Roar motors click here

Lipo Battery Rules:
LiPo users are responsible for their actions.
It is recommended to follow all safety warnings (including the use of a LiPo sack). LiPos can not exceed 8.44v to race.  We will allow a racer to decrease voltage at tech (but it will be our judgment if someone is too high to allow this courtesy i.e. 8.5v+).  A racer may also only be allowed to do this one race (we can't have this occurring multiple times with the same racer).

Oval Lipo Temperature Rules:
   - Batteries can not be over 110 degrees to
     pass tech and to race.
Road Lipo Temperature Rules:
   - Batteries can not be over 110 degrees to
     pass tech and to race.

Tire Traction Rules:
'Jack the Gripper' is the only traction compound allowed to race once again.  Bottles of Jack will be available at check-in.

Hand-Out Tire Rules:
Tires are not part of your entry fee.
You have to purchase from us at race.
Racers limited on amount of 'Race' tires.

   - Tires will be JACO Blue touring tires
   - Tires are $30 a set of four
Spec/Handout World GT Tires:
