Am I A Crazy RC Nut?
  Fri 11/21 the fun began
2pm:  Talked to a racer about the champs that was going to watch.  I thought, what the he!!.  I have always wanted to go as the race draws hundreds of RC racers, including Tony Stewart, who now owns Custom Works and races in a several classes at the event.
4pm:  After talking myself into it, I found a ticket on-line and booked a rental and a room. 
6pm:  I had to eat dinner with my mother-n-laws and then we hit the airport for for my flight. 
8pm:  Took off to Atlanta, GA.
10pm:  Took off for Raleigh, NC.
12am:  Landed and headed to Hertz for my car, and drove 120 miles on some fun 2-lane backroads to Danville, VA.
3am:  Finally unwound & slept.
6am:  Wake-up call.
7am:  Arrive at track after driving about 30 miles on backroads.
8am:  Watched open practice and then the 3rd round of qualifiers.
3pm:  Left to head to airport.
6pm:  Dropped of rental.
7pm:  Flew home thru Atlanta.
12am:  Julie picked me up.
1am:  Got home and got ready for Sunday racing at GT.
2am:  Finally unwound & slept.
5am:  Headed South in the Hemi to pick up the race trailor and go Racin', Racin', Racin' at GT.
