PITTING AT THE RADISSON
Here are some of the options this year for pitting:
- HOTEL ROOMS -
Racers are allowed to pit in their hotel rooms.  This is  very popular.  Hotel has free wireless internet so you can follow the races from your rooms.  We're working with the hotel on a TV channel dedicated to the race like last year!  Rooms have glass covered tables that will work great.  North Tower rooms
are closest to the race track.

- TRAILER PARKING -
Hotel has great parking for race trailers, real close to the track.  E-Mail if you want to reserve a spot.  We will broadcast on 2-way radios
again, to hear all the action.

- CONFERENCE CENTER -
Pitting inside the conference center is new for '08.  Click pics to see more of the area.  Pit area #2 is more for race and class sponsors, and pit area #1 is more for general resevered pitting.  We posted this information on our site for a couple months ago.  Watch for possible openings.  Right now full.

The birds are famous for it's Manufacture's Row.  Dozens of factory racers and sponsors will be showcasing products, and being there for you, the racer. Stay tuned to see the final 'Row' as the race nears.

NASCAR DRIVERS KNOW THE BIRDS
It is awesome to have so many Nascar stars involved with RC racing and know about the Snowbird Nationals.  This has helped make the 'birds even bigger.  Nascar car owner Todd Braun was heavily involved in RC racing in the 90s and raced with Mike Boylan across the country.  One of our crew members, Gene Crane, can be heard on Speed TV as he announces for the Hooters Cup Series.   Carl Edwards has drove over to hang out with the racers, and even  made some laps one year.  See him racing here. Tony Stewart led the field in a 4cell mod race a couple years back and just this year he talked about the Snowbirds and how big the race is on his Sirius radio show.  Todd Bodine makes the trip almost every year along with many other members from various teams.  Being during Daytona Speed Weeks is a perfect time to bring in the top stars & media.  This year's schedule promises even more racers and teams possibly making the trip to the 'birds!

RAY WOOD  I  RCTVLIVE  I  STEEL CITY Videoing the Upcoming 'Birds
Ray Wood is coming from Australia to cover the 2008 Snowbirds.  His videos are world famous and highly recognized worldwide.  The staff of RCTVLIVE will also be here filming all week for upcoming episodes, and Mike Rooney from Steel City will be filming for an upcoming documentary on carpet R/C racing.  We are excited to have everyone coming and helping cover this great event!

BRAND NEW HOME
Yes it is true!  After 7 interesting and exciting years on I-Drive, we have found a new home.  The 2008 race will be held at the beautiful Radisson Resort in Kissimmee on 192, just 1 mile from Disney and Old Town.  This is great area, with even more wonderful things to do and see while you and your families are here for the race!
